Fun family action flick
I found this little gem on Amazon Prime and judging from the poster on Amazon, I thought it was going to be a bigger budget film. It’s actually a low budget indie film that is done quite well considering it’s obvious limitations. I watched it without my kids due to no rating, but was pleased to find that it’s family friendly, no blood/gore or excessive violence. I’d give it a PG rating. My kids thought it was great, so the creators certainly have a niche. There are a lot of Japan Anime tropes all throughout the film (which I didn’t actually get) until I watched it with my kids, and they filled me in. I saw some Jackie Chan references… very original but also an ode to popular Anime’s and Martial Arts movies.
