4 the finish(?)
At least one thing is probably clear to those in the know of the books this is based on: I have not read them. I am fairly certain there are more of them, so while this is the fourth movie of our beloved crime fighting unit (started off as a duo, got some female power mixed into it), there probably is more than the movie gives us.

Having said all that, the movies in general are really good. I rewatched certain scenes the other day to get into the mood of this strange group again … and remembered why I liked them. The first one was the best with the recurring theme of the bad coffee as a side gag delivered throughout the movie – this seems to have a similar gag with a leak that lets water drip into their offices. But it has other similarities as well. Our main actor has again issues with his feelings or rather how to express them.

If that isn’t enough they also get a case that while is quite a decades old crime … has more to it than first meets the eye. More than solid crime solving work ensues, some quite coincidental side stories which tie into the main story can be found too (suspend your disbelief for that one). If that were to be the last of the bunch … it would be a great conclusion … but I wouldn’t mind getting more of them.Read More
