Gay scewball comedy…..
I thought this would be such a low budget bore, but I found myself laughing almost nonstop. The pace and jokes were very fast, akin to old Hollywood screwball comedies. The actors were able to keep the energy high throughout, even though there were few rest stops. If it had been a higher budget production, it probably would have been better, but I thought the script was funny, lightening fast and the actors pulled it off. No self-respecting gay couple would have ever accepted staying at a dive motel with a view of industrial smokestacks belching soot, sulphur and smog, as a suitable place to tie the knot. Funny concept….loved it!!!
