Yet another cheap and digital horror flick
PARANORMAL: WHITE NOISE is another cheap digital horror film with a gloomy greyed-out look which seems to be all the rage these days. It looks boring and it is boring, going through all the old humdrum cliches without ever once engaging the senses or the viewer’s interest. Rose McGowan plays a ghost hunter who winds up at a haunted subway station to investigate some spirits and the usual happens. It’s all dark and predictable, lifting slightly when old-timer Christopher Lloyd appears for a cameo but soon dropping back into the doldrums again. McGowan tries hard but she’s wasting her time with this mindless script and enterprise.
