Plot Summary:

It’s not horrible
Various fighters are invited to a martial arts fighting tournament for $10 million. The tournament is run by Dr. Victor Donovan (Eric Roberts). Four of the contestants include princess Kasumi (Devon Aoki), wrestler Tina Armstrong (Jaime Pressly), thief/assassin Christie Allen (Holly Valance), and Helena Douglas (Sarah Carter). They would find the tournament’s terrible reason for being.

This doesn’t hide its video game roots. It’s concentrating mostly on the girls. It’s definitely going for the young male audience. It’s a lot of hot girls with limited clothing doing jiggle-fighting. The story, such as it is, is a bit thin. There is the main mystery of what happened to Kasumi’s brother in a previous tournament. As for the action, the fighting is rather quick paced and energy driven. The best standout actor is the compelling Jaime Pressly who gives some much needed comedy to the movie. This is not a good movie by any means, but this is relatively entertaining for a movie based on a video game.Read More
