A bloody copy of Denzel Washington’s Fallen
DON’T KILL IT is a fun, low budget horror movie with a tongue definitely in cheek. The hero of the piece is Dolph Lundgren, playing out his usual weary-hero-with-plenty-of-charm role, this time as a demon hunter on the trail of a murderous spirit with the power to jump from body to body. Yes, this is a blatant copy of the excellent Denzel Washington thriller FALLEN, made with much less seriousness and way more bloodshed.

If you’re looking for something hard-hitting and profound, check elsewhere. DON’T KILL IT offers plenty of cheap and cheesy gore effects and a fast pace with plenty of action sequences, but that’s about it. The humour is okay and Lundgren is good value, but the real emphasis is on the gruesome bloodshed, which I thought was handled brilliantly. It’s no masterpiece, that’s for sure, but I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway.Read More
